[v10.3.0] Stay in place

Post by kagetaze on Wed Jan 30, 2013 11:19 PM

Don't you hate it when you're for example in a spot where the mobs do AOE (like Harnak, EG, etc..) so you have your healer/archer/wynn characters on a long range, but they keep coming closer and closer to melee range? Eventually get hit and die?

This will solve it:

Code: Select all
BattleStart()
Check:
If (LocInRange(XXX, XXX, XXX, 150))
{
Delay(500)
}
Else
{
MoveTo(XXX, XXX, XXX)
}
Delay(2000)
Jump("Check")

This is not the place for that, nor does it have anything to do with this topic, make a NEW general topic or a script topic.

Thanks

Hello,

this is my first time i try to run a script. I want to run your script for my healer in EG and i want him to stay in a spot and when he moves to heal/buff/rez the rest of the party after to run back on the spot.
The lock i want my healer to stay still is 51353, 153004, -3392
So if i undertand right the script should be something like this:
Code: Select all
BattleStart()
Check:
If (LocInRange(51353, 153004, -3392, 150))
{
Delay(500)
}
Else
{
MoveTo(51353, 153004, -3392)
}
Delay(2000)
Jump("Check")

However, the healers doesn't move back when he comes to heals us..
What's wrong?

You want your whole party NOT to run away from your healer? Is that it?
